Real Photo postcards were popular in the early 1900’s. Kodak was first they had a folding pocket camera that took photos postcard size and then Postcards could be ordered to be shared with friends and relatives. Later any negative could be made into a postcard. After 1907 it was all the rage to send your photo through the mail with a personal message.
