Photo Number 1746

This is a photo from the antique shop in Moorhead Minnesota.
Unknow Moorhead ant shop
I am not sure what kind of uniform this is?   Perhaps someone will know..is it foreign? Is it a service man or a fireman?
There is only one clue, the date is stamped on the back December 15, 1939.
Thanks for stopping by.

Update from Iggy and Joe:
Royal Canadian Air Force

  1. The dark colored uniform is intriguing. The garrison cap and one stripe on the sleeve makes me think this is an army air force cadet - 1939 would be an unusual time for a USA military cadet. Perhaps this man was Canadian (RAF)? Maybe someone knows.

  2. Intense Guy is probably correct. Royal Canadian Air Force based on the similarities with the uniforms in this photo and others like it on this website: http://goo.gl/5YQUpL
