Thanks for stopping by.

Update from Iggy:

This is a possibility:
This might be Alfred J Strauss (Nov. 5, 1865 - Feb. 1, 1910)

He had a grandson named Harry Alfred Strauss, Jr.

  2. The Strauss family in Allentown is like the Olson family in Minnesota. So this is a needle in a haystack search.

    This might be Alfred J Strauss (Nov. 5, 1865 - Feb. 1, 1910) Find A Grave Memorial# 133366486

He had a grandson named Harry Alfred Strauss, Jr. (Find A Grave Memorial# 118940782) Harry and his wife's Find A Grave Memorial have nice obituaries. I am maybe 25% sure on this one!

    1. Strauss is like Olsons...who woulda thunk it! I will wait at least the info is out there if a relative stops by.

  3. It's a good thing someone entered that second line to clarify what they meant by "Father Strauss." I didn't think he looked like a cleric...but one never knows...

  4. Robert W Wint is my 3rd great grandfather. Learning so much! Ancestry mentioned his ocupation as Photographer and another record mentioned Photography Studies which then prompted me to google and find this. Thank you so much for sharing! I'll share with the rest of my family.( i'm a descendant of his daughter Myrtle (with his first wife).
