It is addressed to Carrie Swanson Anoka Minn  Box 2657  USA
Carrie Swanson was married to Marshall Swanson and her maiden name was Pryor.  So she is most likely related to this fellow.
I have a few Pryor Photos…and there are a few left at the antique shop from both families (the Pryors and the Swanson/Swensons) I only bought a sampling.
This was a AZO postcard that was used from 1904 to 1918.

Alie Austin Dl ant

We rarely see a dress with a patterned fabric, it looks like the outline of light colored flowers.  This dress also has a leather belt. The dress is gathered right at the bust line and looks to have somewhat dropped sleeves.  She has a pocketbook in her right hand.  Her long hair appears to be caught up in a pony tail and swept over to her shoulder.

Alie Austen or Austin

This photo looks western to me…Montana maybe…just a hunch.  I have rarely seen a photo like this one.   She looks to be maybe 18 years old?  What do you think?  The photo was probably taken in the 1880’s to 1890’s.  I bet she ordered that material for the dress.

Helmer and Laura Wahpeton Antiques
Helmer & Laura Johnson    Father’s Cousin – Lamoure
Haynes Selby Ave Cor. Virginia in St Paul is the photographer. The Haynes photographer might be Jack Ellis Haynes  who was at that address in the 1880’s…or Frank Jay Haynes who was at the address from 1895 to 1908.

The photo measures 5 x7.  It is larger than a Cabinet Card, and from the ladies blouse and skirt I think it is from the 1895 to 1908 timeframe.  Too bad she dropped her handkerchief on the floor.

Lamoure could be in North Dakota.

Update from Iggy:
Helmer Johnson (1861 - 1931) and Laura Johnson nee' Hendrickson (1859 - 1942) are buried in High Prairie Cemetery, LaMoure, LaMoure County, North Dakota.

Helmer immigrated from Norway in 1885 to the USA as did Laura (they were married in c. 1881).

The 1900 US census shows 2 sons, Claus (Oct 1880 in Norway)  and Henry (Sep 1893 in ND)

They also had 5 daughters, (ages as of 1900), Petria Johnson, 17; Julia Johnson, 12; Helga Johnson 10; Lena Johnson 8.
