A tree on Ancestry has this same photo attached to Ettie May Snider (1873-1901). According to this family tree, she married William Wallace Oakes (1866-?). Three children are listed; Elsie May (1889-1972), Erie Agnes (1891-?), and Ella Eleta (1895-1995).

 Arthur's middle initial was F., and he was a musician in San Francisco. While I couldn't find any entry for him in Find A Grave, an obituary mentioned he was the son of Mrs. Minnie Cornelius and a native of California.   Minnie and Arthur appear in the 1920 Census.

Elroy McKendree Avery Born July 14 1844 in Michigan and died Dec 1 1935 in Florida.
He was an author, historian,lecturer, scientist and educator. He was in the Civil War. He was married to Catherine Hitchcock Tilden. He was also the first Mayor of New Port Richey Florida.
